Good day,
I’ve developed a 100% polyester canvas specifically for artists—this isn’t the usual type used for jetline printing.
At the moment, I have three versions available:260gsm / 9 ounce for oils and acrylics300gsm / 10 ounce for oils and acrylics260gsm / 9 ounce designed for watercolours
We’ve also created a 100% rPET canvas (300gsm / 10 ounce), which has undergone testing and received fantastic feedback from various artists.
Each of our canvases features a specially developed coating tailored for either oils or watercolours, so the products differ depending on the medium.
In addition, I developed a stretcher bar over a decade ago that has been successfully used for stretching polyester in the printing industry. Some of these items, stretched as far back as 2013, are still drum-tight today.
In 2019, I designed another type of stretcher, which allows us to produce extremely large canvases, limited only by the width of the fabric itself. These canvases, currently installed in corporate offices, remain sag and wrinkle-free.
I’m currently based in the UK and am keen to find out how and where I could have my products tested within the art community.
Thank you
Graham

Hi Graham,
I’m not a conservator just an artist, but your canvases sound interesting. I can’t see any photos, but do you have a website with more info about these?
Thanks,
Richard
i am interest, how to get a test sample from you?
the biggest concern is polyester is not breathable like traditional fabric, means it doesnt absorbs primer into it for strong adhesion. the primer bascially just sit on top, which raise up concern of delamination.
also the wavy pattern of polyester is very artificial, that may also be a draw back.
Yes, regular polyester or printing canvas does have some issues, and it’s possible you’ve tried one of those.
However, we’ve developed our own polyester fabric from scratch, addressing many of the common problems, such as adhesion and wavy patterns.
Our fabric has undergone extensive testing and we haven’t encountered those issues with our product.
We’ve also developed two coatings, applied during manufacture, to suit different mediums:Acrylic: Works well on our surface, whether painting directly or applying a primer.Oils: Similarly, artists paint directly or with a primer or gesso, and have great results.Watercolour: We’ve even developed a separate canvas specifically for watercolour.
For the acrylic and oils, some artists prefer painting directly onto the surface, while others apply a primer or gesso. Both approaches have been successful with our canvas.
I’m eager to gain more insight or collaborate with conservators to ensure we’re on the right path. Our main goal is to help artists with products that offer strong archival properties, and any feedback or guidance in this area is highly appreciated.
Over the past decade, we’ve continuously improved based on feedback and identified issues, ensuring our products are as reliable and long-lasting as possible.
