“Temperone” medium (Tempera based on rye flour)

Hi all! Has anyone worked or tested this with a medium from the Kremer company? l Positioned as a 16th century Venetian tempera. In many books on painting, I have seen that a layer based on flour (starch) glue can be insoluble (especially emulsified with resin and linseed oil). This can be very convenient when painting large canvases; you don’t have to worry about the previous layer dissolving; you don’t have to wait several days or a week for drying to apply powerful glazes. I tried to make this medium myself. The layer is really very difficult to dissolve with the next layer. But the paints become much lighter after drying. But you can spray water from a spray bottle like in a fresco. This tempera requires a lot of study and attention. Very interesting. I made a sketch. This is a binder for a confident hand. Has anyone tried a similar medium, or are there any recipes?
