Hello,
Is it possible to safely mount a finished painting on linen (Rabbit skin glue, Lead oil ground) onto a rigid support in order to avoid potential problems caused by the hydroscopic properties of the glue? If so, how can this be done?

Also we have some information on how to work with BEVA and rigid supports in our “Rigid Supports” document in the resources section…however in general we do not recommend attempting this for various reasons outlined in the previous threads.
